The Solweather annual (mean) rainfall chances map, gives the primary chances of exceeding median rainfall for the current 12 months in question. It is a combination of cycles from analogue time periods of cyclical repetition, to form a patterned rainfall chances map for 12 months.

It can be used either solely for annual chances of rainfall or more importantly in conjunction with smaller cycle maps and information. The annual map in conjunction with smaller timeframe maps and information, gives the overall pattern to the year and whether those patterns equal to above or below chances of rainfall respectively. This in conjunction with meteorological maps and information on a regular basis for the given year can give insights to rainfall chances ahead of time.
